Here's what Woodson was trying to say:

1) Worry about the big game, not the friggin squad.

2) Don't ever call me "Wood" !!

CWood needs to repeat that line this year every chance he gets. Sets a tone. ESPECIALLY needs to say it before each game vs. Vikings.

MAN. That short clip nearly made me shat myself when I first heard it. Wouldnt be surprised if Rodgers did after hearing that. Just there making casual sideline banter and then BAM, Woodson drops BOMBS. Cause you know Woodson wouldn't say stuff like that if he didn't believe it.

BAM.

Have to say though... I do think his enthusiasm about a Super Bowl-caliber team (which I'd argue was/is valid and well warranted) probably lead to the "overconfidence" that plagued the team after the pre-season. Not that it's his fault directly but just the fact that a guy like him was saying things like that probably made everyone's expectations soar. Probably wouldn't change the outcome anyway because (assuming same injuries) they'd lose to the Vikings twice after the recovery anyway. This year they won't make the same mistake and be overconfident, but hopefully Woodson can light a fire under the team again this year.

And.... eff you Mr Nagler. That clip is making the wait even harder. Think about the NFL Films feature that they'll put together after the Pack wins it all this year, using that very clip to set it all up! SO EXCITED! COTDAMN

Just watched the 1996 episode of America's Game. Got the same feeling now I had back then. An offense that is extremely talented. Defense not quite as good, but getting there.
