Former Packers DB Marquand Manuel Joins Falcons Coaching Staff

Former Green Bay Packers defensive back Marquand Manuel joined the coaching staff of the Atlanta Falcons under new head coach Dan Quinn, according to Josina Anderson of ESPN:

Quinn was just hired on Monday, the day following the Super Bowl.

Manuel was part of the Seattle Seahawks coaching staff that beat the Packers in the NFC Championship game.

Although he lasted just one season in Green Bay in 2006, Manuel was part of the same free agent class that also brought Charles Woodson and Ryan Pickett to Titletown the same season.

That secondary needs some good coaching. Poor pass rush didn't help any.

I heard Dan Quinn's plan is to draft a bunch of Pro Bowlers in the late rounds.

Why don't ALL the NFL teams do that??
