I believe Ty Summers did not receive opportunity with 1st team because he is replacement for Blake Martinez,, he is not in plans to play along Blake. He is play caller on D and because of that he is placed in position to be that "D play caller" in every practice. That is to learn play calling as much as he can.

I believe that Ty summers will play along Blake only if Packers will have no other options.

Is that so hard to understand?

From the little I saw of him, dont get pre season games, he sure has some speed and energy. Seems he just needs some coaching up to get him to be a better tackler. The good news you cant coach speed and he has it

Hardly any starters played in Thursdays games. None for the Bears and limited for the Giants and others.
Those that did play obviously needed the work.
Week three will get very interesting.
