Elgton Jenkins done for the season with torn ACL

The Pro Bowler suffered the knee injury in the 4th quarter of Sunday's loss to the Vikings.

As suspected, Packers Pro Bowl offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins suffered an ACL tear in the 4th quarter of Sunday's loss to the Vikings.

Jenkins will undoubtedly be placed on injured reserve later this week.

With All Pro left tackle David Bakhtiari still a few weeks away from returning, look for the Packers to turn to Yosh Nijman at left tackle.

You are all witnesses as I've reposted this several times since the Aug 12th original...thankfully our depth has been stout to keep us in the position we've earned during this season's journey...next man up.

MVS leads the pack of injury prone players on the squad this year. 7 life path in a personal 7 year...don't hold your breath.

GREATEST CONCERN THIS SEASON--our SECONDARY. Alexander, Amos, Scott all in personal 7 years where injury risk increases. 7 LP King always a perennial risk, as is Sullivan, born on a 7 day. Barry's pressure heavy defense will have to be dialed down if secondary subs can't be trusted.

Jenkins is also in a 7 personal year. OLine could fall apart quickly should he go down while Bahk continues to recover. Myers and Kelly are born on a 7 days and will have above average injury risk as will Turner being in his enemy year (ditto Bahk)

Remaining injury concerns: 7LPs Crosby, Begelton, Dillon, and 7 day born Ramsey (who already bit the bullet last week)>>

Well this proves you're talking out of your drug fueled haze.

Throw out 14 random names, if three end up hurt over the season you're somehow right and your pseudoscientific nonsense holds up.

Or when Tonyan got hurt, and you raved about how it was a dangerous day or week for injuries, despite the injury stats for the entire league was below average for that week. You're so full of shit and whenever you shart out a post you lower the collective IQ of the room with 21%.

Reminds me of an old buddy I used to golf with. I remember one round we are on hole 11 and he is in the sand bunker just off the green and he says, I am going to get this up and down for a par. Well he chunks it out of the trap short of the green and putts it in from the fringe and says 'see, I told you so'. I told him that he also said that the previous 10 holes and it was bound to happen at some point. (I didn't think it would happen for a few weeks though. (RIP Rooster)

Instead of being a model cheesehead TV participant you chose to not only read, but felt compelled to slander another member. 7 of those 14 names have already missed significant time and if I'm not mistaken 9 of 14 have missed at least one game; I find that statistically significant and you make it out to seem like a lotto drawing? Funny you didn't post in advance that there WOULDN'T being an outbreak of injuries?

The Cards game was a high risk day under universal 7 energy and we lost 3 players, 2 to season ending injuries. I said NOTHING about above average risk for the entire week, just that specific game--a game in which 30 other teams did not play. Hill & Tonyan may be done as Packers.

"Packers: DE Kingsley Keke left the game in the third quarter with a concussion. ... RB Kylin Hill (knee) was carted off the field in the third quarter. ... TE Robert Tonyan (ankle) was hurt in the third quarter.

I also stated the KC game on the 7th would pose greater risk...Stokes even got hurt in warmups.

"Packers: CB Eric Stokes left in the first quarter with a knee injury. DL Kenny Clark had to be helped off with a sore back in the second quarter, and LG Jon Runyan joined him in the locker room with an illness a few minutes later."

If a belief doesn't align with yours, show some maturity, digest it, and move on.

Huge loss on the same type of reach to a left-side Blitzer as DB 69 had last year. More reason to use TE and RB's to chip block.
Boy, do I hate the 5 OL line-up w/o a TE or back to help out on the edges. Our big guys on the line need to practice lateral moves and stretch a little more with all the extra weight they carry-a likely reason.

Good thing our back-ups are capable starters in an injury-riddled year.
Best to EJ 74 on his recovery journey

Terrible news, and crazy to think the O-line is now down 3 current or former pro bowlers from last year: Linsley, D-Bak, and Jenkins.

This is why I don't like All-pros moved. The Injury risk becomes greater. Not to mention. As they get older, that risk increases too. I think LTs ; have the most torn ACLs in the NFL.

Sherrod was a 3rd string OL who got beat out by Marshall Newhouse because he was basically terrible. Then he broke his leg. Not sure he belongs on the same list as the other guys.

Yes- and they didn’t go to the Super Bowl…. I hate injuries and I hope the beat due this young man and whoever is now going to fill in. These set backs suck- but O line has been a strength so don’t lose all hope

Why would Jenkins get ACL surgery without first consulting with Dr. Joe Rogan? I'm pretty sure Dr. Rogan knows more than the stooge Orthopedic surgeons.
