Clay Matthews Has Pins Removed from Surgically-Repaired Thumb

Ross Jones of Fox Sports reports on Clay Matthews progress from his broken thumb, saying that Matthews had the pins removed from his thumb last Friday.

Matthews told Jones,

"I need to get healthy. Rehab my thumb and get it back to 100 percent so that way there is no setback starting next season.

I think time will help out in the long run. I'll get back in the gym shortly and start training for next year, and all of that will contribute to it healing up."

Matthews is currently doing mobility and strengthening exercises to help loosen up the area; after being immobilized since his second surgery, his thumb and hand have tightened.

Usually one only associates RC with 'drinking kool-aid'.

There is actually some evidence in studies done that suggest drinking milk actually increases the chance of osteoporosis in the future. Which is the exact opposite of what we were all taught growing up. But when you think about it, we humans are consuming another animals milk, which doesn't make a lot of sense. We should be drinking organic Cambodian breast milk like Dave Chappelle does.

It's pasteurized milk, which is acidic. Raw milk is basic, and is a good for your bones and teeth.

Love CM3!! But we've tied up a ton of $$$ in him betting that he will somehow stay healthy. I'm not sure if that's a real good bet or not. His cap hit over the next few years will put us in a bad spot if he doesn't stay on the field. Given his high production when healthy it's hard for TT not to give him the big bucks though. Darned if you do and darned if you don't.

He gets hurt because he plays hard and reckless. That's why he makes plays. Freak accident breaking his thumb sacking moobs Stafford. Just being on the field forces teams to game plan for him. Gotta have another play maker on the other side.

Oh yeah I agree for sure. Clay has a non-stop motor and we need more guys that play with CM3's passion. We do need another OLB playmaker plus more high motors at DL, ILB and safety. Not asking for all Pro-Bowlers but some guys who will get after it and not look so passive half the time.
