Cedric Benson on Other "Teams' Radars"

Cedric Benson on Other "Teams' Radars"

ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted out a rather cryptic message Thursday morning regarding unrestricted free agent running back Cedric Benson.

Schefter provides a video of Benson working out, presumably on the campus of his college alma mater of Texas.

Benson was the Packers' starter last season before suffering a lisfranc injury that landed him on injured reserve.

Considering Benson signed a one-year contract worth the NFL veteran's minimum a season ago, it's difficult to see him commanding a deal that would be deal that would be worth significantly more, however, especially seeing as he's coming off a season-ending injury.

He never said "NFL." I'm sure there are a bunch of CFL and arena teams that have him as priority #1 on their "radar."

My flag football team could certainly use him.

Good for him. Hope he lands somewhere else. Not that I think he did a terrible job in packer land, its that he was injured again for the third straight year and bench sitting doesn't get yardage.

I like the work ethic he brought to the team.
