Geronimo Allison will be the Packers No. 3 wide receiver by default to open the 2018 season.

But if you’re the Packers, what the heck are you waiting for? The longer you wait, the more the price is going to go up.

The first pass rusher for the Packers by position wasn’t taken until the seventh round, but James Looney isn’t a true pass rusher and is more of a plug-and-play hybrid type.

Former Packers general manager Ted Thompson, who is currently in a senior advisor role, will be in attendance inside the Packers draft room for the upcoming NFL Draft. My first reaction was, what?

But the one thing that nobody is talking about is protecting the most important asset.

For over 20 years, Packers have been in the crosshairs of Super Bowl expectations. And the reason is simple: stellar quarterback play.

At this point what does Rodgers want? Does he want to be included on every single Packers’ personnel decision?

Trevor Davis didn’t commit domestic abuse and he didn’t shoot or stab anyone.  But what he did was make a joke about a bomb at an airport.

Everyone is clamoring for whom the Packers will take with their first pick in the NFL Draft on April 26.

Davon House will be talking to the Packers this week. The conversation shouldn’t last very long.

There is only one reason why the NFL does things and that reason is money.

Jordy Nelson has been talked about ad nauseam since the Packers said thanks but no thanks.

I expected general manager Brian Gutekunst to be more aggressive in free agency than Ted Thompson, but there is something else at stake here: Aaron Rodgers.

The Packers have won five division crowns since 2008, but the division just got a lot tougher. With NFL free agency slowing to a crawl, the NFC North got a lot better.

But while gobs of money is floating around, the Packers are without a veteran corner and in the process, may also lose veteran safety Morgan Burnett.

But…why not Ndamukong Suh? Why should the rest of the NFL wait on baited breath for the Patriots to sign an impact veteran?

This ends an inconsistent career for Damarious Randall, but it also sheds light on a larger Packers’ problem: first round misses.

While just about everyone was gushing about Saquon Barkley’s strength and speed in the Underwear Olympics also known as the NFL Scouting Combine, Harold Landry was also making a name for himself.

So what to do with a guy that transformed his body into a muscled Humvee? You turn him into a tight end.

It’s hard to believe, but Kirk Cousins could wind up being another above average quarterback taking snaps in the NFC North.

This may be Brian Gutekunst’s first term as the Packers general manager, but it is oh so important.

Instead of making a catch what everyone knows on the sandlot growing up, the NFL turned it into a complicated list of rules that couldn’t be followed even with the guidance of a Sherpa.

With the Packers and Aaron Rodgers still hashing out a deal, the quickest way to a team makeover is through the defense.

Remember the Joe Flacco contract?

New Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst was hired to swim upstream, be the ying to Ted Thompson’s yang.

Doug Pederson, Frank Reich and Nick Foles sure made one interesting trio after the Eagles shocked everyone with a 41-33 win over the well-oiled machine of New England.

The difference between Tom Brady and Bill Belichick isn’t that they are perfect, it’s that they at least had the sense to keep it muffled from the public.

Tom Brady is the NFL’s Golden Boy. With a win on Sunday, he will have more Super Bowl wins than any player in NFL history and at age 40 he’s likely to win his third MVP.

Originally it was a bad idea and it has turned out to be 39 shades of awful. Players aren’t given enough time to rest and recover and coaches aren’t given enough time to game plan.

Ever since ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper projected Davenport to the Packers at No. 14, people have been asking that question in unison.
