Bye Weekend Videos

Greg Bedard and Rod Burks give us their thoughts on the Packers at the Bye. Check out part 2 of the video here. The video below has to go in the Packers Lounge dumbass of the week column. 1st off taking your sports frustrations out with violence on another human being is stupid. But then - you're so mad at the Vikings that you stab a Seahawks fan? what?

Ha, on part 2 of the Bedard video, you can hear the people doing the Lambeau tour yell, "Go Pack Go!"

A. You can't stab people. Not cool.

B. You shouldn't be eating at a place called "The Leaning Tower of Pizza"

Both crimes in my book.

RR, you're telling me that "Leaning Tower of Pizza" isn't a reference to a famous Italian landmark?

Damn, even Packer Fans can be idiots. I thought we were an exclusive club, or something.

Don't judge a book by it's cover, that place is actually really good, RR, and I'm going to be hanging out there more often if there are crazy Packer fans lurking around. Maybe he could have been talked off the ledge...

In hindsight, that loss to the Bengals keeps looking less and less bad. . . .

I can understand being emotional and wanting to get into a fight (I'm sure a lot of us have been at least close to doing THAT much), but obviously using any kind of a weapon is taking it waaaay to far. That being said, at least he manned up and called 911 and owned it. I would imagine that most people in that situation would try to disappear.

Something tells me it wasn't just the the loss that put this man over the edge...
-------------------------------
Bucky, I've been waiting for someone to pounce on with a Moral victories. There way be a silver lining in losses but that's only if the team improves. We lost a lot of close ones to good teams last year. Close to good doesn't make you good.
----------------------------------
Let's not forget the Vikings and the Bengals had double digit leads at one point. Then the packers finally start making a comeback. Yes, an attempted comeback is better than none at all, but it sure goes a long way in inflating the offense's statistics and the margin of loss. Things probably looked better than they were because the Vikings and Bengels pretty much had the game in the bag barring improbably comeback.
-----------------------------------------
Sound familiar to 2008? Does to me. A lot of close losses last year came after we waited until midway through the mid-3rd quarter to start scoring. Let's not make the same mistake this year in using these rationalizations to justify losses, only as an explanation for a potential improvement.
