Bulaga avoids major injury
The Packers starting right tackle left the 49ers game with a knee injury.

While he will undoubtedly miss some time, right tackle Bryan Bulaga reportedly avoided a major injury last night.
Sources said Bulaga, who left the game in the first quarter after someone rolled into his right knee and was immediately ruled out, avoided a major injury to the same knee that was repaired in 2017 when he tore his ACL. One source said Bulaga did not reinjure his ACL, which would have ended his season. He could miss next Sunday's game against the New York Giants and even one more after that, but the Packers should have him back for the stretch run.
#Packers RT Bryan Bulaga is believed to have an MCL sprain, source said. He’ll have an MRI to determine how long he’s out, but it’s nothing major. Most importantly, the ACL was spared.

Glad he is okay. He’s played a lot of good football for the Packers. I am not sure another round of contract is the way to go. Just a little too fragile at too important a position.

Reality is Packers have no real replacement for him. Better call Gute....

Very pleased that the big guy will likely be back for the final 3 or so games of the season and hopefully a playoff game or more.
While the 49'ers have an exceptional front four, was nevertheless disappointed with the team's tackle depth off the bench.
In all likelihood the Pack will have to re-shuffle their O-Line a bit to get better play/player at right tackle during Bulaga's absence.

No one should bad mouth Bulaga! He's a stud! He works his ass off on every snap. He's one of the best Pass blocking right tackles in the league (PFF) He keeps his mouth shut while doing his job. I really can't see anyone forking out big cash for him when he's a free agent, because of his injuries. Hopefully he likes his line mates, and his wife likes living in GB enough that he'll go for a team friendly contract after this season.

Our worst fear of Bulaga being injured comes to pass. Very bad gamble not to get a backup tackle. Perhaps Yosh can surprise us. Turner is scary.

I think Corey and I are on a same page on this issue because I think hiring McCarthy was a good decision. Visit https://topicsmill.com/essay/narrative/ to get more help in essays. I am contradicting with only one point that which is that they were not supposed to fire Mike.
