Bart Starr Endorses Mitt Romney for President

The former Packers quarterback stumped on behalf of the Republican presidential candidate Friday in Milwaukee.

One day after Packers cornerback Charles Woodson spoke at a Barack Obama campaign stop in the Green Bay suburb of Ashwaubenon on Thursday, perhaps the most famous living former Packer stumped on behalf of Obama's opponent in the upcoming presidential election.

Former Packers quarterback Bart Starr, the MVP of Super Bowls I and II, spoke at a Mitt Romney campaign event on Friday at State Fair Park in Milwaukee.

Benjamin Sparks, the Wisconsin communications director at Romney for President, quotes Starr as saying in a tweet...

Even Wisconsin Republican governor Scott Walker took to Twitter to mention meeting Starr backstage before the event.

Wisconsin is viewed as a key battleground in Tuesday's upcoming general election where the division between liberals and conservatives is thought to be close.

Kind of silly to be stumping this late in an already decided election, but the music is playing and the dance must be followed.

It quite simply is an outstanding faith based organization that helps young at risk boys redirect their lives.

Check it out.

The Red Cross is better than any organization which requires its members to subscribe to a specific faith.

The Red Cross is great. But statistics have shown the impact of faith based ministries that aren't attached to a government agency work excellently.

And that's why Obama will get another term. Which will really piss you off. But not nearly as much as when WA approves gay marriage (R74) and elects the liberal climate change leader Jay Inslee as its governor. That will really piss you off.

Get a bottle of scotch, you're going to need it.

Lol... I voted "FOR" gay marriage (doesn't bother me a bit), and "FOR" Inslee (I'd likely be out of work in a nano second if McKenna got elected, he no likey state employees).

But thanks for your concern!

For the record... I approved I-502 as well. So no scotch, I'll just twist one up brah...

And while he could have wound up like Paris Hilton, instead he actually contributed something to society, gave people jobs and devoted a considerable amount of his time to public service. But sure, let's just be pissed at the rich white guy.

also, having a lifetime of financial success is the reason to elect someone to the office of the presidency??? so that means you think someone like donald trump is qualified! haha. sounds reasonable to me!

Some people actually believe that a rich man who owns a company and runs political campaings is doing society a favor?

You really think he has the good of the people in mind?

This from someone who doesn't give a rats' ass about the US elections. And it's not like the other guy is doing it for you.

You're free to believe anything you want. And if you feel his policies are the right ones for your country, vote for him.

But believing that such a person (anyone involved in politics, really, specially in the major parties) has anything in mind but the bottom line is naivety.

Really disgusted by the Catholic Diocese in Green Bay. The bishop sent a letter to parishioners saying that a vote for Obama puts their "soul in jeopardy"...I guess as a Catholic it's ok to support two awful wars that killed 100,000s, just as long as you force a raped woman to carry a baby. Honestly, from New York City: GFY!

Back to football...Go Pack Go.

No, the Bishop is RIGHT ON THE MONEY.
One party here supports killing babies and the other doesn't.
One party WAY overstepped their boundary and tried to FORCE the Catholic church SUPPORT BIRTH CONTROL even though it's against THEIR BELIEFS.

If you don't see what's wrong about that, they go to Pakistan or Egypt and try and tell them how Islam is going to be governed.

And yes, please continue to lecture me about your party's love of life (and also war, the death penalty, assault weapons...)

Not sure what point you're trying to make about Islam, Pakistan or Egypt.

In any event, good luck tomorrow!

Bart Starr understands integrity, business, success, and he has class.
Politics suck, but it amazes me that anyone can overlook the lack of success, the corrupt Chicago-political ties Obama has, the fact that his BEST FRIENDS were anti-American, anti-white haters like Reverend Wright... how do you overlook all that stuff?
Because Madonna and Whoopi love him, or because his smooth talking salesmenship got you?
Or is it all the union crap?
It's embarrassing as heck for me being a native Wisconsinite.
