Attention Packer Fans: Please Listen To Butler

I can't take another Packer fan telling me how the Packers will be 'exposed' when they 'play a good team' in the playoffs.

From Leroy Butler's Q&A with Tom Silverstein:

Q: Aren't you concerned that without cornerback Al Harris they're thin in the secondary, and probably not as good, their offense can't seem to score in the red zone, and their kicker is in a slump? Aren't those areas going to be exposed when they hit the playoffs?

A: Not at all, and let me tell you why. The Saints have the same problem the Packers do. They had to bring in two guys who were injured with knee injuries in Mike McKenzie and Chris McAlister. The Giants had some problems with their secondary and so have the Eagles. And Minnesota's secondary, you can throw on them. The Packers have the No. 2 defense. I'd put that defense out there, with those deficiencies, against anybody.

A-freaking-men. A good team like the Eagles or Giants who can't cover or run a lick, but chuck it all over the yard? That seems to play to our strengths, no? Or how about a team like the Cowboys who we already beat? Or maybe the Cards who admittedly played a sublime game against the Vikes, but then had that 7-TO, 11-penalty dog against the Niners. Oh yeah, a team they lost to twice and we beat. Butler rules, per usual.

Leroy has always been up-front & straight forward & more times right than wrong...... Loved Leroy in the 90's, still do....... He should be coaching if not in GB, then somewhere in the NFL ....

I also enjoyed and completely agreed with the part where he says Finley should get every ball within twenty yards of the end zone.

Butler has been the most loyal and outspoken former Packer in the press all season long. I truly appreciate his candor in all aspects of game and team analysis...and definitely trust his judgment when it comes to Defense...I'm pretty sure he knows a thing or two about what a championship defense looks like!

Still don't see us matching up against the Saints on the back end, been wrong before though, and I'd love to get the chance.
