I can't even begin to understand the type of person it takes to run that type of business, and to do the job of paparazzo. I would say 'in good conscience', but I don't believe these folks care about anything other than making money and exploiting the famous at all cost.

Put Mark Florio over at PFfffffT in that same category. That disgusting POS exploits his own family to garner attention and sympathy for himself.

The paparazzi are doing it for the money - that I can at least understand. What will forever escape me are the people who care about that crap. I have my favorite musicians/actors/athletes, we all do, but I couldn't care less about what they do in their free time.

Yes, the other side that I don't get either. A large portion of society is really fricked up to care enough about all if this nonsense to move places like TMZ and PFfffffT to monetize it.

This.

Let's not pretend they aren't doing EXACTLY what the public wants them to do.

And by public I really mean hundreds of millions of people.

Once they stop caring about Madonna's new clothes (or Honey Boo Boo or whatever), then those magazines will be out of business, and, as Rodgers said, these "reporters" will get "real jobs".

There'll always be demand for news. Just a matter of what type of news.

BTW, there are A LOT of people in the journalistic community that believes sports are entangled with gossip.

And, let's be honest, a huge part of the sports public corroborates with that notion. Favre, anyone?

Amen Jamie. Mark Florio is just one step up from these paparazzi. He very frequently twists things on his website, & based on the Aaron Rodgers airport video he twirped 2 yrs ago, he would have turned this clip into Aaron caring nothing about his fans & climbing into a truck full of prostitutes.

Wait, a guy who plays a game for a living tells another guy to get a real job? I think Aaron can do better than that. TMZ is kind of funny sometimes especially when the 'stars' give a little effort.

This kind of treatment is probably a good reason why Aaron loves to play in Green Bay. He seems to enjoy his personal life quite a bit and doesn't have to worry about getting hounded constantly when he is in GB. (Unless it's by my friend Mindy in the grocery store a few weeks back.)

I find it ironic that some people posting here are wondering why there's an appetite for celebrity news .... WHILE posting on a website devoted to gossip and news about a bunch of sweaty 20-something guys in tight clothing.
