Wow! A surprise. A playoff game to boot. An extention may do the trick but there's only so many people who are willing to exchange a warm living room, HDs & homecooking for below zero weather. I wouldn't bring children to the game. Too dangerous.

I live in GB and am totally willing to go, but like Arlo said I don't want to freeze my rear off when I can enjoy it from home. But also Lambeau gets poor internet reception so when I go to games, I can't use my phone to look up stats or injuries of players--I can from home. And the price of tickets is pretty hefty for this time of year (see Christmas gifts), why not lower the price to bring in more fans?
But biggest reason for me, I've been to 3 games this year and we have lost them all. I might be a jinx--can't risk it in the playoffs. Just hoping my Lacy jersey I got for Christmas from my wife wipes all the bad mojo away!!! Go Pack!!

I really hope you're joking regarding the ticket prices ($100-125) and especially the Internet connectivity. As for the cold, I get not wanting to take the younguns or olduns, but everyone else, have a few drinks, something hot, and move around-this is the Playoffs and that's the Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field-grow a pair and enjoy it for those of us who can't.

I was curious, so looked up this info. 49ers last four games: vs Sea (win), at Tampa (win), vs Atl (win), at Arizona (win). Coldest game they played was 56 degrees vs Atlanta two weeks ago. They haven't played in a 40F or colder game since Nov 25. that's our advantage.

No one has an advantage when it's as cold as it will be Sunday.

I agree. I think the cold advantage is more legend and myth than fact. Even the Ice Bowl. No big advantage for the Pack as it took a last second TD to win the game against a warm weather team. In recent memory it seems like the best team usually wins regardless of the temp.
I live in Alaska. Personally there's no way I would sit outside at 0-minus 18F and watch a game. My hats off though to anybody who can do that and enjoy the experience.

Agreed. The thinking seems to be the cold weather team is "used to" playing in the cold. But I don't really buy it.

Ditto. Unless the cold weather team knows how to strap on tiny hand warmers or something, I see no advantage other than one: the fans can warm you heart a little

PFT reporting an extension until tomorrow afternoon with about 3,000 tickets left. Sure wish I lived close to the promised land, this is a chance of a lifetime.

A lot of reasons/excuses for the sluggish sales.

Fact of the matter is... this is pathetic.

I would never blame any fan/s for not buying tickets. there is a lot of factors and sometimes money is a big one. Corp sponsors are always in the background waiting to save the day, especiially local TV markets who would lose those ad dollars.
