If the Green Bay Packers are ever to get over the ‘hump’ and move ahead of the powerful Seattle Seahawks in the NFC, the time is now. There is a bitter taste in the mouths of the faithful and it is time to get rid of it.
Two very familiar foes will line up across from one another this coming Sunday in Chicago when the Green Bay Packers take on the Chicago Bears. One team is the model of consistency and a popular pick to play in Super Bowl 50. The other team lightly regarded and picked to finish last in the NFC North.
The Packers did struggle last season in the red zone and even though their basic touchdown percentage in the red zone was in the top half of the league, they were not as good as that number would lead you to believe.
There is a lot to like about the 13-year Green Bay Packers veteran Julius Peppers. And the production that both he and Reggie White recorded at the same age while sporting a Packers uniform is quite impressive.
If you took a poll of Packers fans you will find that they are divided on how well Zook will coordinate special teams. There are those who see Zook as just another McCarthy buddy who didn’t make much of a difference last year when he was an assistant. Others look at his coaching body of work and come away impressed.
