No fight , man handled by the Vikings at home tells you the character of this team, maybe its not all Pettine's fault but fire him maybe that will light a fire , Dan Quinn is out there but not for long .

I'd rather see the fight in the head coach and the defensive coaches as to why they could not adjust at half time and play better. Same D same result, no head coach taking charge.
Le Flowers going down. The real packers and his play calling is going down. The defense is going down. There is no gaurantee this team gets to the playoffs, none.

Yeah i guess. But these players are grown men too. They can hold each other accountable. Where is the charles woodson type leader? Whos rallyin the troops on the sideline? Theres this oh well aww shucks attitude on the d. And yeah you are probably right about one thing. If the players arent holding each other accountable, than the coaches need to do it.

Not saying this is the right approach, but have been pondering this view for a while. There is no guarantee that if we went "all in" that we would win another Superbowl. There is ALSO no guarantee that if we "plan for the future" that the future team will be a consistent contender.
The common train of thought is that the "win now" mentality would sacrifice the future of this franchise as a yearly contender. Well...after Rodgers is gone, there is absolutely no guarantee that the Packers will be contenders anyways. Rodgers is really the only reason the Packers have been a contender most years.
When Rodgers is gone and the packers suck again, will we regret planning for the future?
What do you think? Do you favor the current approach or would you like to see them go all in?

I thought they were going to go all-in last draft knowing what was needed, but they soon drafted nothing of real value to go all-in. They got drawn into a dead pot and ended up with a future QB that may force Rodgers hand in asking for a premature trade after this season, salary cap be damned. There is no-way Rodgers is happy with the moves and his pressers of confidence are easily read as being a large part bs. I don't care how much the Rodgers buy-in of MLFs offense is blasted in GB.

I think we should have. Seems like that boat has sailed though. I think gute didn't have a lot of faith and emphasized building over reaching for a championship. I suspect where the tean is now, he'd love to have gone a different direction instead of picking up an interior decorator whose contributions best i can tell was hanging up scary Halloween decorations.

Aaron.. You asked about fight ,,, 1-When you see AR Laughing down 2 TD's the optics are not good ( would Brady do that? ) I know everyone has a different personality but I don't care for it. AR should be barking in the huddle and inspiring the D on the sideline ... 2. They are just not guys playing a game they are professionals athletes working ... 2. Players getting paid a nice some of money to preform.3 From a performance standpoint not sure AR has much to learn, at this point in his career. I would hope everyone from front office to players want to always be improving , I think a attitude adjustment on the field and bench might be a place for AR to evolve/improve.

I’m with you on this. The leader sets the tone. If you like a team that can smile while they’re getting kicked then that’s what you’ll have. Attitude? Starts with the leader. But we’re not benching him, no way.
In Lee Ermy’s immortal words, “Let me see your war face”. Arod needs to put his face on in that situation.

I feel he is leading the offense. At least it looks like he is. The D needs the leader. Rodgers doesnt need to lead the defense. He has enough to worry about. The d looks like a bunch of mercenaries, who are inspired by individual performance. Tom brady jokes wit d linemen as well. Seems like a ploy to me. If you get chummy n joke wit them big boys maybe they lay off and dont come as hard at you. Even subconsciously. The defense needs the war face. The offense needs to focus on their assignments.

I thought Jerry Gray was going to make the secondary better; but I remember him saying before the season that DBs can play either tight or off, whatever they were most comfortable with - and I thought Uh Oh!

There is little to no fight in the players on D ... and Kamal Martin will soon tone his fight down to acclimate to this SOFT organization.
There is no fight in the Defensive Coordinator. He looks like he was hired by no-fight former Head Coach Mike McCarthy.
There is no fight in the GM/front office that is drafting QBs and RBs for 2022 and hoarding draft picks for the Jordan Love era.
There is LITTLE fight in the QB who has been around this SOFT organization for long enough to realize there is no sense in personally going ALL IN when the organization is NOT interested in doing so.
There IS fight in the Head Coach.
Will be interesting to see if the Head Coach is eventually neutered and begins spouting the usual organizational platitudes and celebrating glorious NFC North Titles.
Oh, and theres is ZERO FIGHT in the press when it comes to covering the Packers. To a person, they constantly have the organization's back, though they have PLENTY OF FIGHT when it comes to criticizing fans who question the Pack's greatness.

Wish I could give this ten thumbs up ken, nailed it.. Also no fight in getting the offense help at wr in the draft or mid season.. The only coaches or front office I want back is mlf..Gute is a bum, he’s horrible..

Have we ever stopped to think that Mike Petty has similar mannerisms or characteristics to Mike McCarthy. It had been reported, and fans could also tell, how stubborn he was when it came to changing up game play or being creative. His, "football is football" mentality allowed teams to pick us apart because they knew what we would be doing every time. I get the vibe that Mike P is similar. His idea that run defense is not a problem or not being willing to show that creativity in game time decisions reminds me of MM. Any thoughts?
