Singletary Confirms He’s Going to Minnesota

Mike Singletary confirmed to ESPN 1000 in Chicago that he will be coaching the linebackers on Leslie Frazier’s Minnesota Vikings’ coaching staff.
“I will be in Minnesota with Les,” Singletary told The Waddle & Silvy Show on Tuesday. “I will be a linebackers coach/assistant head coach.”
Singletary was fired as head coach of the San Francisco 49ers in December, and had drawn interest for a positional coaching positions with the Vikings and Carolina Panthers.
Singletary and Frazier were teammates with the Chicago Bears in the 1980s.
