The Seattle Seahawks will interview Darrell Bevell for the vacant quarterbacks coach position on Tuesday, ESPN’s John Clayton reports.
Seahawks quarterback Jedd Fisch is leaving the team to be the quarterbacks coach/offensive coordinator at the University of Miami.
Bevell just completed his fifth season as the Minnesota Vikings’ offensive coordinator, and is a candidate for the St. Louis Rams’ offensive coordinator vacancy, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports.
Bevell spent the previous six seasons with the Green Bay Packers, coaching the team’s quarterbacks from 2003-05. Bevell’s tenure with the Packers began as an offensive assistant in 2000, Matt Hasselbeck’s final season in Green Bay.
