ESPN's John Clayton reports the Seattle Seahawks have officially agreed to terms with free agent quarterback J.P. Losman on a one-year deal worth the veteran minimum ($630,000).
No word on how much, if any, of that is guaranteed.
The 22nd overall pick of the 2004 NFL Draft out of Tulane by the Buffalo Bills, Losman (6-2, 212) started 33 of 42 games during his five seasons with the Bills, completing 59.2% of his pass attempts for 6,211 yards, with 33 touchdowns and 34 interceptions, compiling a passer rating of 75.6.
Losman spent 2009 with the Las Vegas Locomotives, throwing for 1,193 yards and 9 touchdowns as he led the team to a win in the first ever UFL Championship Game, and the Oakland Raiders, where he signed for the final three weeks of the regular season, attempting one pass.
