Saints Swap Long-Snappers

The New Orleans Saints have swapped long-snappers, signing rookie free agent Justin Drescher and placing Jacob Ingram on waivers.

Ingram was signed on Saturday when veteran Jason Kyle was placed on injured reserve.

A sixth-round draft choice out of Hawaii by the New England Patriots, Ingram had an errant snap on an extra point during the Saints' 34-19 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Holder Chase Daniel scrambled to attempt a two-point conversion, but his knee touched down short of the goal-line.

Saints kicker Garrett Hartley also missed a short field goal attempt, but Ingram's snap did not appear to be an issue.

Drescher (6-1, 230) played his college ball at the University of Colorado and spent a portion of the off-season with the Atlanta Falcons.
