The New Orleans Saints have placed linebacker Stanley Arnoux on injured reserve, Sheldon Mickles of The Advocate reports.
Arnoux suffered an Achilles' injury during Sunday's 34-19 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
A fourth-round pick (118th overall) out of Wake Forest in 2009, Arnoux (6-0, 232) had five tackles and a fumble recovery on special teams this season. Arnoux missed all of his rookie season after rupturing his left Achilles' tendon during a mini-camp practice.
"I firmly believe that any man’s finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle – victorious."
