My high school alma mater (Clinton) having its annual Thanksgiving Day game canceled this year may have something to do with this, but I found this note from Jeff Duncan of The Times-Picayune was interesting and kind of cool:

With Monday's signing of rookie long-snapper Justin Drescher, the New Orleans Saints' current battery on extra point and field goal attempts--Drescher, holder Chase Daniel, and kicker Garrett Hartley--all attended the same high school, Carroll Senior High School in Southlake, Texas.

The Saints travel to the Dallas Cowboys for the late afternoon game on Thanksgiving, while their alma mater plays Abilene High School at Cowboys Stadium on Saturday at 4pm CT.
