Washington Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss’ contract will void five days after Super Bowl XLV, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Sunday.
Moss’ voiding contract is not news, but is a reminder that the 31-year old, who had a career-high 93 receptions for 1,115 yards, 6 touchdowns, and a career-high 61 receptions for a first down, will be a free agent after this season.
J.I. Halsell, a former cap analyst for the Redskins who currently breaks down cap/contract issues for Football Outsiders and the Washington Post, reported on Moss’ voiding contract in November.
Halsell explains the Moss renegotiated contracts, and what his next contract might look like, right here.
