Free agent defensive lineman Jeremy Clark has signed with the Washington Redskins, a league source confirmed on Wednesday.
Signing with the Redskins completes the NFC East cycle for Clark, who entered the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Alabama in 2007. Clark (6-3, 295) spent parts of 2008 and 2009 on the New York Giants’ practice squad and active roster, and spent a month this season with the Dallas Cowboys.
In six career games, four with the Giants in 2008 and two with the Cowboys this season, Clark has totaled 7 tackles.
Clark was waived by the Cowboys last week.
Clark also had a practice squad stint with the Atlanta Falcons in 2009, and was with the Arizona Cardinals during the 2009 playoffs and 2010 off- and pre-season.
The Redskins had cleared a roster spot earlier this week when safety LaRon Landry was placed on injured reserve.
