Raiders Fined Tom Cable $120K During Season

Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis fined former head coach Tom Cable during the season, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.
Schefter reports that Davis began deducting $20,000 from Cable’s weekly paychecks.
Cable has filed a grievance with the NFL, who are attempting to determine the exact reasons why Davis levied the fines.
The Raiders declined to pick up Cable’s two-year option after the team finished 8-8, their first non-losing season since going to the Super Bowl in 2002.
Oakland is currently the only team in the NFL without a head coach.
