Jim Mora to Have Lunch With Former Boss

Less than a month after taking some shots at the Seattle Seahawks during a radio interview with 710 ESPN Seattle, former Seahawks head coach Jim Mora is getting over it.

Slowly.

"I like people that are truthful. I'm not about lies and deception," Mora said last month regarding his relationship with Seahawks CEO Tod Leiweke, who Mora felt had unjustly fired him, and unfairly sent him out to do a post-season press conference while Leiweke was in Los Angeles courting Mora's replacement, Pete Carroll.

"Tod and I are having lunch tomorrow," Mora told Q13 Sports Director Aaron Levine on "Q It Up Sports" in Seattle on Sunday.

"I'm a forgive and forget kind of guy, always have been," Mora said. "That's life in pro sports. Sometimes the wounds feel a little raw, but absolutely, great relationships...Tod and I will be pals forever, I imagine. You know, we climbed a mountain together, you know, it was a little fresh at the time."

As he mentioned in the radio interview, Mora is researching the college game "on a daily basis", and that at this point, doesn't see himself taking an assistant coaching job in the NFL, though he's not ruling anything out.
