Jevan Snead Heads to Arena League

Free agent quarterback Jevan Snead has signed with the Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena Football League, The Tampa Tribune reports.

Snead passed for 5,765 yards and 48 touchdowns during his career at Ole Miss, but entered the 2010 NFL Draft after a disappointing junior season and was not one of the 255 players selected.

Snead signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent, attempting one pass and taking two kneel-downs during the pre-season finale before being waived in September.

The 6-3, 215-pound Snead worked out for the Seattle Seahawks in December, and auditioned for a "Reserve/Future" contract with the New York Jets last week.
