Jets Place T Damien Woody on IR

The New York Jets announced that offensive tackle Damien Woody has been placed on injured reserve.
Woody suffered a left Achilles’ injury during the team’s final drive against the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday night. Woody will have surgery on Wednesday.
Veteran offensive tackle Wayne Hunter is expected to replace Woody at right tackle.
