Jets On Verge of Signing C Robby Felix

The New York Jets are on the verge of signing free agent center Robby Felix, Manish Mehta of the Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Undrafted out of UTEP in 2009, Felix (6-3, 300) signed with the Baltimore Ravens, but was waived as part of the team's final cuts on September 5. Felix, who suffered a stroke after his final college game, played for the UFL Champion Las Vegas Locomotives last fall.

Other than All-Pro center Nick Mangold, the Jets presently do not have a natural center on their off-season roster.
