The New York Giants announced they have signed cornerback Michael Coe off their practice squad.

Defensive end Alex Hall has been placed on waivers.

Originally drafted out of Alabama State in the fifth-round (173rd overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts, Coe (6-1, 190) has 11 tackles in 13 games with the Colts (2007) and Jacksonville Jaguars (2009-10), who had signed Coe off the Giants' practice squad late last season and waived him in Week 4.

Coe had been on the Giants' practice squad since Week 4.

The Giants host the Jaguars on Sunday.
