The Atlanta Falcons have signed first-year tight end Marquez Branson to their practice squad, Jay Adams of AtlantaFalcons.com reports.
Robbie Agnone has been placed on the practice squad injured reserve list with a foot injury.
Signed by the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Central Arkansas in 2009, the 6-2, 248-pound Branson spent last season on the Broncos' practice squad after catching four passes for 26 yards during the pre-season.
Branson had 9 receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown for the Broncos this pre-season, but was released at the end of training camp.
