ESPN: 4-to-6 Game Suspension for Roethlisberger
By admin
ESPN's Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen report that Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will be suspended for four-to-six games to begin the 2010 regular season.
Roethlisberger's suspension could be as much as six games, but "will contain conditions that will allow it to be reduced based on Roethlisberger's behavior and compliance with clinical evaluators", the ESPN report states.
A six-game suspension maximum means that Roethlisberger would not miss any of the Steelers' five prime-time games, while a four-game suspension means Roethlisberger could return after the team's Week 5 bye week.
