Eagles Sign S Jamar Adams Off Practice Squad

he Philadelphia Eagles have promoted safety Jamar Adams from their practice squad.

Adams replaced rookie safety Jamar Wall, who has been placed on waivers.

Originally signed by the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent from the University of Michigan in 2008, Adams re-joined the Eagles' practice squad last week.

Adams had a two-week stint on the Eagles' practice squad earlier this season.

The 6-2, 212-pound Adams spent much of his first two seasons on Seattle's practice squad, appearing in 7 games and totaling 4 tackles, all on special teams in 2009.
