Dolphins Waive LB Micah Johnson

According to a league source, the Miami Dolphins have waived rookie linebacker Micah Johnson.
Johnson was active for Sunday’s season-opener against the Buffalo Bills, and was credited with an assisted tackle on special teams.
The Dolphins released signed linebacker Erik Walden on Tuesday, but do have an open spot on their practice squad after releasing guard Andrew Hartline and tight end Nathan Overbay.
