Dolphins Sign CFL Linebacker

The Miami Dolphins have signed CFL linebacker Mark Restelli, sportsnet.ca reports.
Restelli (6-2, 222) is a California native who played his college ball at Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo. In two seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos, Restelli has 74 tackles and four quarterback sacks. A knee injury limited Restelli to six games in 2010.
Restelli drew interest from NFL teams last month, working out for the Dolphins and New York Jets, with the Minnesota Vikings also in the mix for his services.
The Dolphins have had success finding talent north of the border, signing former B.C. Lions linebacker Cameron Wake to a four-year contract in January of 2009. After a year in a situational pass-rushing role, Wake was a 16-game starter in 2010, exploding for 57 tackles and 14 quarterbacks sacks in 2010, earning a trip to the Pro Bowl.
