Cowboys LB Stephen Hodge Headed to IR

Dallas Cowboys second-year linebacker Stephen Hodge underwent microfracture surgery on his left knee and will miss the remainder of the season, reports Todd Archer of the Dallas Morning News.

Hodge had been on the physically unable to perform list after undergoing the same procedure on his right knee in 2009.

A sixth-round pick (197th overall) out of TCU in 2009, Hodge (6-0, 238) signed a four-year, $1.847 million contract that included a $97,000 signing bonus. Hodge appeared in one pre-season as a rookie, recording a tackle on special teams.
