Colts Sign RB Allen Patrick, CB Glenn Sharpe

ESPN's Paul Kuharsky reports the Indianapolis Colts have signed running back Allen Patrick and cornerback Glenn Sharpe.

Undrafted rookie quarterback Tim Hiller has been waived.

Patrick (6-1, 200) went undrafted coming out of Oklahoma, and was signed by the Baltimore Ravens. Patrick has yet to appear in an NFL game, and has also had stints with the Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Sharpe entered the NFL with the Atlanta Falcons, who signed him as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Miami in 2008. Sharpe spent much of his first season in the NFL on the team's practice squad, and though he joined the active roster late in the season, he did not appear in a game.

Sharpe spent half of the 2009 season on the Falcons' practice squad before being waived with an injury. Sharpe joined the New Orleans Saints practice squad for the playoffs, earning a Super Bowl ring, but was cut on June 21 and was arrested on drug charges on August 5.
