The Indianapolis Colts have re-signed running back Andre Brown to the practice squad, a league source said.

Running back Josh Vaughan has been released from the eight-man squad.

Brown was waived earlier this week so the Colts could sign cornerback Cornelius Brown off the practice squad.

A fourth-round pick out of North Carolina State by the New York Giants in 2009, the 6-0, 224-pound Brown missed all of last season with a torn Achilles, and lost one yard on two carries in three games with the Denver Broncos earlier this season.

The Colts also signed rookie wide receiver Jeff Moturi to the practice squad. A 5-11, 186-pound undrafted free agent from UTEP, Moturi signed with the Green Bay Packers on April 30. The Packers "waived/injured" Moturi on August 18.

In 44 games for the Miners, Moturi caught 170 passes for 2,527 yards and 26 touchdowns.
