Chargers Sign LB Brandon Moore

The San Diego Chargers announced the signing of free agent linebacker Brandon Moore.

Moore, 31, started 26 of the 88 games he played for the San Francisco 49ers between 2002-07, totaling 242 tackles, 15 quarterback sacks, and an interception. Moore hasn't appeared in an NFL game since the 2007 season, and was last on an NFL roster during the 2008 pre-season with the Arizona Cardinals.

Moore played for the Las Vegas Locomotives in the United Football League the last two seasons.

San Diego had an open spot on their 53-man roster after waiving linebacker Darry Beckwith on Monday.
