San Diego Chargers head coach Norv Turner announced the addition of Jason Michael to his coaching staff.
Michael will coach tight ends, replacing Rob Chudzinski, who left the club to take the offensive coordinator position with the Carolina Panthers. Michaels previously coached tight ends at the University of Tennessee during the 2008 season.
Michael has coached at the NFL level with the Oakland Raiders (2005), New York Jets (2006-07), and the last two seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, where he spent most of last season coaching the quarterbacks.
