Cardinals Willing to Trade G Reggie Wells

In addition to being open to trading former first-round quarterback Matt Leinart, Kent Somers of The Arizona Republic reports the Arizona Cardinals are willing to trade guard Reggie Wells.
Wells (6-4, 305) has started 90 of his 104 games with the Cardinals, who selected him in the sixth-round (177th overall) of the 2003 NFL Draft out of Division II Clarion (PA) University. Wells became a full-time starter in 2004, and after going on IR with a broken ankle in 2005, has started 64 consecutive regular season games for Arizona.
The Cardinals matched a five-year, $15 million restricted free agent offer sheet Wells signed with the Buffalo Bills in 2006. Wells is scheduled to earn $2.4 million in base salary this season, the final year of that contract.
This off-season, the Cardinals signed Alan Faneca, which prompted Wells to move from left to right guard, and placed the "Second Round" restricted free agent tender on Deuce Lutui, last year's starter on the right side. Veteran free agent Rex Hadnot was signed to a three-year, $9 million contract, as well.
