Cardinals Sign LB Alex Hall

The Arizona Cardinals have signed free agent linebacker Alex Hall, reports Kent Somers of The Arizona Republic.

To make room for Hall, the Cardinals have waived linebacker Cyril Obiozor.

Hall, a seventh-round pick (231st overall) out of St. Augustine by the Cleveland Browns in 2008, has started two games during first two seasons in the league, and has totaled 38 tackles and 3 quarterback sacks.

Hall (6-5, 250) has 15 tackles and a forced fumble on special teams.

Traded by the Browns to the Philadelphia Eagles this off-season, Hall was waived by the Eagles prior to training camp and claimed by the New York Giants. In three pre-season games, Hall totaled 8 tackles but was "waived/injured" with a shoulder injury.
