Cardinals Place DE Kenny Iwebema on IR

The Arizona Cardinals announced that they have placed defensive end Kenny Iwebema on injured reserve.

Iwebema (6-4, 280) was feared to have torn an ACL during Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings. A former fourth-round pick out of Iowa, Iwebema has one tackle in seven games this season.

Linebacker Cyril Obiozor has been signed off the San Diego Chargers' practice squad to take Iwebema's place on the 53-man roster.

Obiozor (6-4, 249) opened the season on the Cardinals' 53-man roster, but was waived after Week 2 when Arizona signed linebacker Alex Hall. Obiozor joined the Cardinals' practice squad, but was signed to the Chargers' active roster, where he spent three weeks before being waived and re-signed to their practice squad late last month.

In three games this season, Obiozor has one special teams tackle (with the Chargers).
