Cardinals DT Darnell Dockett Fined $15,000

Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Darnell Dockett was fined $15,000 by the National Football League for his late hit on Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Mike Williams.

Dockett was flagged after hitting Williams, who had been tackled after gaining 7 yards on a 3rd-and-12 play with less than 5 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. Seahawks center Chris Spencer immediately called for a flag, which was thrown. Dockett's penalty extended Seattle's drive, allowing them to run another 3 1/2 minutes off the game clock to preserve the 22-10 win.

Seahawks defensive ends Raheem Brock (unsportsmanlike conduct) and Chris Clemons (potential helmet-to-helmet hit on Cardinals quarterback Max Hall) were not fined this week, nor was Seahawks guard Mike Gibson, who was flagged for an unnecessary roughness penalty after Olindo Mare's 51-yard field goal.

Gibson's penalty did prompt a practical joke inside the Seahawks' locker room this week.
