Bucs HC Raheem Morris Confirms McCoy, Black Out for Season

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris confirmed that first-round defensive tackle Gerald McCoy and linebacker Quincy Black will miss the remainder of the season.

McCoy, the third overall pick of the 2010 NFL Draft, suffered a torn biceps in the first quarter of the Bucs' 17-16 win over the Washington Redskins. Morris said that Michael Bennett, a second-year defensive lineman from Texas A&M, will play more three-technique in place of McCoy.

Black broke his forearm during the fourth quarter on Sunday. A starter the last two seasons, Black has 188 tackles, 3.5 quarterback sacks, and 2 interceptions during his career.

In 2010, Black has 60 tackles and picked up his second quarterback sack of the season on Sunday. Adam Hayward and Dekoda Watson will replace Black at strong-side linebacker.
