Browns RB Jerome Harrison to Attend Mini-Camp

Cleveland Browns restricted free agent running back Jerome Harrison has yet to sign his one-year tender, but had been participating in the team's recent "Organized Team Activity" sessions.

Harrison is skipping this week's OTAs to attend to a charity event, but Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer reports that Harrison will attend the team's mandatory mini-camp, which runs from Thursday through Saturday.

The team's leading rusher in 2009 received a "Second Round" tender, which the fifth-year back from Washington State University is expected to sign prior to June 15 to avoid having the Browns reduce his tender amount by over $1.17 million dollars.

Under the tender, Harrison will earn a non-guaranteed salary of $1.759 million dollars in 2010, a significant increase over his $535,000 from a season ago.

Though Harrison recently returned to the OTAs, he has been working with the second-team offense, with second-round running back Montario Hardesty getting the first-team reps.
