The Cleveland Browns have claimed nose tackle Travis Ivey off waivers from the Miami Dolphins, a league source said.

Ivey fills the roster spot vacated when 28-year old rookie nose tackle Kwaku Danso was "waived/injured" on Tuesday.

An undrafted free agent out of Maryland, the 6-4, 341-pound Ivey started 16 of his 32 games for the Terrapins, totaling 54 tackles, including six for a loss and a pair of quarterback sacks.

Ivey adds depth to the nose tackle position that has Ahtyba Rubin at the top while Shaun Rogers remains on the PUP list.
