The Denver Broncos have waived third-year offensive tackle Tyler Polumbus, reports Mike Klis of the Denver Post.
Polumbus is a Denver native who played his college ball at the University of Colorado. Polumbus has started 8 of his 31 games for Broncos, manning the right tackle position last season while Ryan Harris was sidelined with a foot injury.
Denver has switched to a more power-blocking system, and teams running the zone-blocking system–Washington, Seattle, and Houston, for example–are likely interested in the 6-8, 330-pound Polumbus.
