Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy is staying put, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.
McCoy was a candidate for the offensive coordinator positions with the Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs.
The 38-year old McCoy joined the Broncos in 2009 after spending nine seasons with the Carolina Panthers, where he coached the quarterbacks from 2003-08. Former Panthers head coach John Fox was named the Broncos head coach on Thursday, and was expected to retain McCoy.
