Bills Sign TE Mike Caussin Off Jaguars Practice Squad

The Buffalo Bills have signed rookie tight end Mike Caussin off the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad, Robert Roche, Caussin’s agent, announced on Twitter.

Caussin (6-5, 252) signed with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of James Madison, where he caught 66 passes for 1,009 yards and 14 touchdowns.

After catching four passes for 48 yards in four pre-season games, Caussin was placed on waivers on September 4. Jacksonville signed Caussin to their practice squad on September 5.

It’s unknown who Caussin will be replacing on the Bills’ 53-man roster. Earlier today, head coach Chan Gailey indicated that defensive end Dwan Edwards and linebacker Reggie Torbor were going to be out “a long time“, so one of the two veterans could be IR’d to add the rookie tight end.
