Bills Agree to Terms With C.J. Spiller

Tim Graham of ESPN.com reports the Buffalo Bills have agreed to terms first-round running back C.J. Spiller to a five-year deal.

According to Graham, Spiller's deal is worth $25 million, and includes $20.5 million n guarantees. The maximum value of the deal is $37.5 million.

Though Spiller only started 19 games at Clemson, the 5-11, 196-pound running back rushed for 3,547 yards, added 1,420 yards on 123 receptions, averaged 27.7 yards on 74 kick returns, and 10.7 yards on 53 punt returns to along with his 51 total touchdowns in a 52-game career.

Spiller set 31 school records, and in addition to earning various All-ACC honors as a running back and return specialist, Spiller was a finalist for the Doak Walker Award and a unanimous All-American selection after his senior season.

Spiller's role in Buffalo will resemble the one he played at Clemson, with Chan Gailey using the versatile play-maker all over the field, including the return game.
